- My previous University in India had agreement with Vancouver Island University.
- Professor were helpful. The curriculum has more practical approach rather than theoretical one. Beautiful Campus: Located on the stunning Vancouver Island, the university's campus boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding natural landscapes.
Dislikes
- No placements from the college. Need to work on more On - Campus work and on more placements directly from the University. Classmates were into themselves only. They should be supportive. Lack of Entrepreneurship.
Required Exams for Admission
Overall Experience was good in terms of studies and extracurricular activities. Just have to work a lot more on placements.
Course Curriculum
They should be more updated as per the Industry Standards.
Faculty
Dr. Gara has good knowledge of Advanced Algorithms and Data Structures. 1 faculty to 30 Students.
Campus Life
Gym is free for students. Library is good. There is free wifi on campus.
Placement
No placements at all. Have to find by yourself. They doesn’t help at all. They should work on this issue. They should invite companies on campus.
Accommodation
I had off campus accommodation and I found one using the Facebook Marketplace.
Exams
Nothing was required. Only 12th marks and IELTS Score was used. I got IELTS 6.5.
Fees
$80,000.
Scholarship
No but my friend received one scholarship of 2000$ as she had more than 95% in grade 12 mathematics.
