NCHMCT has released the Round 1 seat allotment result for BSc HHA counselling 2026 at nchmcounselling.nic.in. Allotted candidates must upload documents, choose freeze or float and pay the Rs 20000 seat acceptance fee by June 9 2026.

The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) has released the Round 1 seat allotment result for NCHMCT JEE 2026 counselling on the official portal nchmcounselling.nic.in. The result covers admission to the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (BSc HHA) programme.
Candidates who registered between June 1 and June 4, 2026 can now log in with their NCHMCT JEE roll number and password. The allotment is based on the candidate's national merit rank, category and the choices filled during the registration window.
Allotted candidates must upload documents, select the freeze or float option and pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 20,000 between June 7 and June 9, 2026. Those unwilling to take the allotted seat can use the online withdrawal facility during the same window.

NCHMCT JEE 2026 Seat Matrix and Fees
A total of 12,627 BSc HHA seats are on offer across 80 participating institutes this year. The breakup by ownership type is given below.

The counselling registration fee of Rs 2,000 collected earlier is non-refundable. The seat acceptance fee for allotted candidates is Rs 20,000 and is payable online during the document upload window.
How to Check the NCHMCT JEE 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result?
Allotted candidates can follow the steps below to view the result on the official portal.
- Visit the official NCHMCT counselling portal at nchmcounselling.nic.in.
- Click on the Round 1 Seat Allotment Result link on the homepage.
- Enter your NCHMCT JEE 2026 roll number and password to log in.
- The allotted institute and programme will appear on the screen.
- Download the allotment letter and save a copy for reference.
What Is the Freeze, Float and Withdraw Choice?
After accepting the allotted seat, candidates must choose how to proceed in the next rounds. The three options have different effects on later allotments.
- Freeze: The candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and will not participate in further rounds.
- Float: The candidate accepts the current seat but stays in the pool for a higher preference in the next round.
- Withdraw: The candidate exits the counselling process and forfeits the allotted seat.
The freeze or float choice must be locked along with document upload and fee payment between June 7 and June 9, 2026.
Round 1 sets the base allotment for every later round. Candidates who skip the June 9 deadline lose their current seat. They also lose the right to upgrade through the float option in Round 2.
Action Plan for Candidates
- Log in at nchmcounselling.nic.in and download the Round 1 allotment letter.
- Keep scanned copies of Class 10 and 12 marksheets, ID proof, category certificate and JEE scorecard ready.
- Upload the required documents on the portal before June 9, 2026.
- Pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 20,000 through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.
- Select the freeze or float option based on whether you want to upgrade later.
- Plan travel for physical reporting at the allotted institute between June 20 and July 24, 2026.
The Round 2 seat allotment result is expected in the second week of June 2026. The final round result will follow in the last week of June 2026 on the official NCHMCT counselling portal.
