The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Chandigarh has announced the registration process for JAC 2026 counselling. Registration begins on May 14, 2026 and will continue till June 21, 2026. This is your opportunity to secure admission to BE, B.Arch, and other engineering programmes offered by premier institutes in Chandigarh based on JEE Main scores.
JAC conducts centralized admissions for engineering colleges in Chandigarh. The counselling process includes multiple rounds of seat allotment, giving candidates several opportunities to secure their preferred college and programme.

How to Register?
Visit jacchd.admissions.nic.in and click on the registration link. Fill in your personal details, JEE Main roll number, and other required information. Upload self-attested photocopies of all supporting documents and certificates. Pay the counselling fee online (INR 2,800 for general candidates, INR 1,400 for SC/ST/PwD). Submit your registration. Save your login credentials for future use.

Important Documents to Upload
During registration, you must upload self-attested photocopies of: Class 10 mark sheet, Class 12 mark sheet, JEE Main admit card, JEE Main result, category certificate (if applicable), EWS certificate (if applicable), PwD certificate (if applicable), and any other relevant certificates for your category.
Document Verification Process
Document verification happens in two phases. Phase 1 runs from May 22 to June 21, 2026 (before the correction window). Phase 2 runs from June 24-30, 2026 (after the correction window). During the correction window (June 22-23), document verification is suspended. Candidates must ensure all documents are uploaded correctly as no changes are allowed after verification.
Correction Window
The correction window opens on June 22-23, 2026. During this period, you can make corrections to your registration details. However, document verification will be suspended during this window. After the correction window closes, no further changes are allowed.
